myself. How would I match up
against the average asian, white, black runners? Can I beat the average
Kenyan or Ethiopian? Can I beat the
average college kids in Oregon or Colorado?
Surely if you compare the physical prowess across the entire spectrum of
population, the Chinese would be
weaker than the whites. But that is not relevant to me, since I want to be
at the top -- not elite, but at least
moderately good.
When you compare the average of different races, that is statistics. When
you draw conclusions about
individuals based on the average of a race, that is discrimination.

发帖数: 1866 | 42 确实不快，但相对于您的100，200成绩，400好像太慢了点(1分5以下，每百米16秒比较
正常)，因为您长跑是主项，而400是最长的短跑。应多增加速度耐力训练，另外您的上
肢力量和腰腹力量可能不够，250米到400米上肢疲劳导致全身过早疲劳冲不起来。可以
多高一些小重量，重复次数多的上肢力量练习，每组持续1分钟以上，应该对长跑也有
帮助。

pretty slow since I was always
beaten by a friend in touch football. Pretty sure that I've gotten even
slower compared to a few years ago
when I practiced a lot of sprints, vertical leaps, and lifted weights for
basketball.

容易被打破，遇到别人超越自己时，经常脑子一片空白，想加大步幅用力蹬，结果感觉

，现在还是搞长跑比较靠谱。而且练长跑更有助于心血管健康，年纪大了这个还是比较
