It is the 3rd year for the only Chinese team to participate the 200 miles
relay (Texas Size).
the attachment is this years course map, along with finishers photo in 2012
and 2013.
We are calling runners to join us for this year Texas Independence Relay
2014/03/29-30

In general, a team of 12 runners will finish 200 miles course, from Gonzale
(near San antonio) to Houston (San Jacinto Monument), in about 35 hours,
starting Sat morning, finishing Sunday afternoon.
200 miles will be divided into 40 legs (about 5 miles each, varies slightly
in length and difficulty), Each runner will finish the three or four legs,
with 8-9 hours rests between each legs. The ultimate goal is to finish the
relay, safely, with honor, but not speed.
We have 8 people already for this year, and call for another 4-5 running.

发帖数: 2115 | 8 I wish I could. However, due to the training for Boston Marathon as well as
a scheduled fundraising 5K race for brain cancer patients on the same
weekend as TIR, I have to pass TIR this year.
My running club organized multiple teams for TIR. I know that it is great
commitment to do so. I am very touched and so proud of you to have "the
only Chinese team" in this special event. Thank you. Hope that I can join
