threat against a New York-bound flight prompted them to isolate the plane on
a San Francisco International Airport tarmac for more than three hours
before removing passengers.
American Airlines Flight 24, with 163 passengers and 11 crew members onboard
, was isolated at the request of the FBI and the Transportation Security
Administration after Alameda police received a call shortly after 9 a.m.
