But 0.2% is way too low. Keep in mind biotech startups are likely to raise
much more cash down the road, which means your shares will be heavily
diluted. Even this startup becomes successful, you may end up with nothing
in the end. Of course, if this is another Genetech or Amgen, that is a
different story.

level), it is highly unlikely you'll get 1%. No idea about how things
actually work in biotech startups and how valuable you are perceived to the
company, but I wouldn't bite the bullet for anything lower than 0.5% if this
is a very senior position.
