flow. but maybe today is my unlucky day. :(
有没有最近去court的,能免了吗 还是能减些fine? 有什末好的理由去辩吗? 请分享一

如果是雷达测速，你还有可能争辩。如果是被警车跟，很难免掉(paced)，直接向法官
哭穷。

take away the traffic school option.
If you just pay the fine, at least you can go to traffic school.
It's a gamble.

1) apply court arraignment，
2) at the arraignment court, apply for court appearance
3) judge will decide a date that's normally two weeks from 2)
4) prepare the oral argument for innocence.
5) two weeks later, if the cop is not showing up, you win
6) otherwise, use your oral argument to convince the judge
The key is the step 3), as it's not up to the cop to pick the date. |

years ago when I got my speeding ticket.
The cop accused me doing 81mph from his meter in his car on court. I told
judge I don't believe that's the case. The judge said allowing + or -5mph
error margin, assuming I'm doing 76mph so took 1/3 of fine off and gave me
the traffic school option.

发帖数: 593 | 14 Yeah I think that's what I did - admit guilty because either way I was over
the speed limit. I'd admit driving too fast but argue not that fast and
thank cop for stopping you and promise not to do that again :). Not sure it'
s good idea though to quote the 5 mph error margin on court. It's really up
to the judge I guess.

not even let her say anthing just let her know their decision. :(

1) If you lose Trial by Written Declaration, you can request a Trial De Novo
, a completely new trial in court, so you get 2 chances.
2) Police are more likely to not respond to Trial by Written Declaration
than not go to court, because they get overtime to go to court, but not to
write a declaration. If they do not write a declaration, you win. |
