超市登记了。随后过了很长一段时间，claim的结果是他们没有责任，超市维护的很好
，然后给200块的可怜费。。。。。 我像他们索要调查报告和录像，他们以不能公
开的理由拒绝提供。 请问大家，遇到这种事通常怎么处理。 |

在湾区有很多律师接受slip and fall case，premise liability，你现在第一看好病
，拿到医疗报告以及配合治疗，第二可以考虑找一个律师，而且要快，很多这种
security录像都是到一定时间删除的。对方的这种理由是很正当的，因为录像里面可能
除了你们，还有其他人，涉及其他人的隐私，另外这个录像属于超市私有财产，在没有
正式诉讼以前是不会给你们看的。
距离出事有多久了？
有没有牌子不是dispositive fact，需要证明的是超市对地上的潮湿有notice |

，如果低于设计标准，任然可以告超市。我工作的地方经常接类似的forensic case，
比如在shopping mall的水泥地面滑倒，在Shark Stadium台阶上摔倒的，最近49er主场
死亡的2个工人也是我们现场做的检测。 不过你最好还是咨询律师吧，看你的case可以
拿多少钱，有事情钱少了，律师也不愿意请engineer介入。 而且没个1年之类的弄不下
里，因为你母亲可能还要找律师跟你去做deposition，之类的。对方也要请律师盘问一
堆东西。 |

发帖数: 352 | 10 The main thing is what situation of your mother. There are a lot of lawyers
accept "slip and fall" case if they think they will win the case and the
money is not too less. They usually work on contigency, meaning you do not
pay them unless they win. They usually take away 1/3 of the money after
minus the cost, such as filing fee, documentation, etc.. So the lawyer may
accept your case if they think they got a good chance to win.
My friend slip and fell in walgreen due to a puddle of lotion/shampoo on the
floor. She took picture and the store manager made a claim. Then she found
a lawyer. The lawyer helped the case. She got about 5K net after all fee and
laywer split the 1/3.The case took about 2 years.
There are two things are very important you should do for your mother:
(1) Seek medical treatment immediately. That means you have to have medical
bill, reports.
(2) Talk to lawyers ASAP for slip and fall case either you search from
internet or yellow page phone book. If they are interested in your case,
that means you are likely to be win. Because lawyers will not accept the
case if there is no chance to win (then they will not get paid).
