Dear Mayor/Council Member,
My name is XXX, a resident in Fremont Mission San Jose
District. I am writing to seek your help to stop the
Ohlone College housing development plan just approved
by its board on April 16, 2014.
This housing development plan is adding 300 plus housing
unit on Ohlone College campus which would --
* Drastically worsen the already bad traffic congestion
on Mission Blvd;
* Further overburden the already overflowed schools in
MSJ area;
* Destroy the beauty and peaceful environment in the
historical MSJ area;
We understand Ohlone College is in need of long term
sustainable funding, however, this housing development
plan is not a viable solution, it may even create long
term financial problems for Fremont due to potential
loss of property tax revenue in MSJ area.
Your action to stop this project will be highly appreciated
by people who care about the future of Fremont. We are
looking forward to hearing from you soon.
