Description
In this position, the individual will study and optimize state-of-the-art 3D
NAND flash devices
within the Product Device Engineering team. The individual will characterize
memory arrays,
evaluate their reliability, optimize operating methods and parameters, debug
the failures, and
invent new solutions to tackle challenging problems. The individual will
work closely with
engineers from other teams: cell device, process, design, product, and
reliability engineering.
Skills/Experience/Requirements:
• This position requires an MS/PhD degree in Electrical Engineering,
Applied Physics, or a related
field, and 3+ years of relevant industry experience. New graduates with
exceptional academic
achievements will also be considered.
• A strong background in semiconductor physics is required, and NAND
flash memory device
experience is a plus.
• The ideal candidate has a proven ability to achieve results in a
fast moving, dynamic
environment, is self-motivated and self-directed, and has the ability to
work well with people
within and outside the team.
• Excellent communication skills both orally and in writing.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in using data analysis
tools such as Excel, JMP, Spotfire
and/or scripting languages (python, Matlab, C, etc.).
• Occasional traveling to China is required. | m********u
