I hate many people who really don't know about particle physics yet pretend to
kknow. ANd some 'amateur' scientists claim they overturn relativity, quantum
mechanics. While they probably don't know what is QFT, Supersymmetry
supergravity, M-theroy and math such as topology, differential geometry.
Such 'scientist only knows high school or at most basic math in the first 2
year college. It is impossible to do frontier research wit | p**n 发帖数: 10 | 2 In SUSY, people assume each fermion has its correspondent boson. Thus it
constitutes a symmetry, and unfortunately called supersymmetry. The SUSY wants
to solve the hierarchy problem (probably other problems on the side). All the
particles predicted by the SUSY are beyond the current engery. We have to wait
until the next generation accelarator occurs (probably in 2007, LHC in CERN?)
to see if SUSY is correct or not.
Mathametically, SUSY is beatiful because all the unwanted quantum corrections

then, in SUSY, how to explain? If I remember correctly, gauginos can also be
the media of interractions in SUSY. Also, in scalar gauge theory, I can not
see how your explaination works, since we got no fermion there.
Actually, I do not know how to answer this question either:), maybe
microsystem can give us a standard answer? :)
Just for fun, the second question comes:
In massless QCD, flavor U(3)L*U(3)R is spontanousely broken to U(3), then | p**n 发帖数: 10 | 4 The massless QCD has the global symmetry described by the group
SU(NF)L*SU(NF)R
The Lagrangian is chirally symmetric. The symmetry is spontaneously broken
down when we get into one of the vacuum state. The result of which gives
massless Goldstone bosons. For your 2nd point I do not quite get it. Now we
are in the color space...
BTW, do you think Chiral Purterbation theory is reasonable? Receently it is
found that when we go to the higher terms, the series do not converge. One of
