arrive at the BBO crystal at the same time. So if you change the probe
path continuously from pre-timezero to after-timezero, you will observe
a flash of blue light, when the probe path reaches the point where it matches
the pump path. The changing of the delay of the probe beam is usally achieved
using a comuputer controlled translation stage. The accuracy of the stage
basically determines the time resolution of your experiment |
