发帖数: 2172 | 6 I am currently using both. The function of godaddy is more powerful. 1and1
is cheaper with probably the worst functions. However, if you are only going
to do simple things like point a domain to an IP address, it works. If you
really want to do complex thing with 1and1, you can use those free online
DNS service and configure it there. Not worth the time though.

server/or can use my hosting company's dns server freely?
one thing i feel good about godaddy is that they update their whois and dns
server fast. long time ago i had one domain in 1and1, it took almost 2 or 3
days for them to get the DNS server updated and synced to other DNS servers.

再说了，域名的DNS如果使用的是空间商的话，
只要记得续费，一般不会有太大的问题。

domain parking with google.com, 1and1.com can not do. Also, it only support
5 subdomains. The DNS edit panel is too simple to be powerful.
The godaddy has one of the fastest update speed. But other register is not
slow anymore. Usually, they will say with in 24 hours. 3 years ago, they
normally say 72 or 48 hours.
I am not sure about your hosting company's DNS server.

1and1's biggest problem to me is it takes them 24 hours to register a domain
, so you can't get it right away.
I can configure google apps with 1and1 so it works fine for me. I can live

不过也太土了，5天的grace时间，不足够核对的吗？
