I lost friends that day, my wife lost many more, it took us both a while to
recover. I returned home that day hours later, she thought I was dead
because we couldn’t communicate through the entire event. She hugged me
tight at that moment, tighter than she ever did. She has never held me like
that since, and probably never will again. Those hugs are dedicated only to
weddings and near death experiences, it just the way it is. I hope I have

电视冲着我喊“快来看，纽约大楼炸了”。。。那是头一次央视直接用cnn的信号，大
楼冒着滚滚浓烟。
非我族类，很难会有感同身受，虽然都不是坏人。中国地震、泥石流的时候美国人也没
什么感觉。
