QE3 is already in action. When they pledge the extreme low interest rate
for two more years they mean QE3. To keep interest rate low FED has to
buy treasuries to create an artificial demand, and that is indeed QE.
They couldn't quite overtly call it QE when gold was flying in the 7th
heaven this whole month. If they did they could cause a major Dollar
crash so they have to spin it.
At the end of the day 0% interest rate is "don't ask don't tell" QE.

2年的低息已经是FED最后一博了。

，行政手段用在市场经济上，方法又是美联储预料不到的。
现在中国紧缩全力对付通胀，世界经济增长的发动机没了，再搞QE3，中国的现在就是
美国的未来，通胀的洪水一定会流回来 |

之二是QE2的实际效果和负面影响. Fed也不好下最后的决心. |

from Fed. That has nothing to do with their open market operation on bond
market.
