just before the Thailand flood that ruined supply.
Wish I had bought 4 units.
Prices will come down in coming months when factories
run again, and no doubt $79 for 2Tb will re-appear.
The only question is how long it will take. |

stock.
Since there are less players in the market and good demand of storage
devices due to coming cloud network, there is good news to STX and WDC. On
the other hand, since investors worry about HDD will be substituted by SSD (
although in fact this may not be the case), there is bad news to them.
So the question is at what point the bad news will overflow the good news...

But this still depends on how you look at it. When file sharing stops, on
one hand, some people stop watching the files and make the storage demand
down; on the other hand, some people who still want watching the files have
to pay to buy their own storage spaces and make the storage demand up.
This will be an interesting topic. Let us assume google starts to charge $10
per year per person using google, will GOOG go up or down? I bet down if it
is $10,000 per year per person, but maybe up if it is <$10 per year per
person. Not sure I am clear or not. Haha, rookie here!
