They don't realize that this sector is abandoned by MM.
Look at the daily charts for this week. On each day,
The funds are dumping their shares.
Also look at the monthly chart for the past month,
Big MMs have been pumping up in order for dumping, again and again.
the last round of pumping was completed in early march.
The biggest MMs already dumped most of their shares.
This week it was the funds who cannot pump up the price, all they could do
is to dump.
The fundamental of coal is changed, once and forever.
The price of natural gas is not only in 10 year low, but also heading toward
lower. Because the discovery of huge amount of natural gas
reserve and the revolutionary development of mining technology.
Although coal recovered in 2011 after going through rough 2008 and 2009, the
story is totally different this time.
Because
1. the price of natural gas would not recover, coal lost market to much
cheaper natural gas.
2.Slow down in China is inevitable.
3. The fast development of renewable energy.
4. The season factor is not good for coal in the spring.

One can not jump in to bottom-fishing before the down trend is
reversed.
In addition, if the trend is reversed, one has plenty of time
to jump in. For example, when bac reversed its trend, it gave
everybody 2 month period of time to jump in.
Don't front-run the market. Keep your money safe.
