On December 6, 2018, the bankruptcy court approved the release of up to 17.5
million shares of AAL common stock from the DCR. These shares were used to
make a distribution to former holders of AAMRQ shares and to fund capital
gain taxes. The distribution took place on February 12, 2019 and holders of
AAMRQ received an additional distribution of approximately 0.0432 AAL shares
for each share of AAMRQ previously held.

If any shares held by the Disputed Claims Reserve are not required to
satisfy any final allowed claims in the bankruptcy case, previous holders of
AAMRQ will receive an additional distribution. The amount and timing of any
such distributions cannot currently be predicted. |
