这个California Gross Income是所有的收入还是在加州的收入?
这是英语有问题。。。
California taxes all income received while you resided in California and the
income you received from California sources while a nonresident.?
Does this mean only income from CA?
多谢! |

If yes, you can get tax money back if you file.

One question is how "California Adjusted Gross Income" is computed. Does
this only include the CA income?
540NR requires "Enter federal adjusted gross income from Form 1040". Should
I put my Texas federal 1040 number there?
Thank you very much!

However, I just asked this question using the online chat of CA tax websitehttp://www.ftb.ca.gov/aboutFTB/contact.shtml. They said the CA gross income means the income from all resources, so it includes my TX salary. Thus I have to file since my overall yearly income is larger than 14000 (limit of the the filling requirement) , even though my CA income is less than that number...
However, they said they are not licensed... What an explanation!

As NR of CA, only report CA income.
