赛，因为是一种经历。
这种选手的最佳USTA选择是什么？
A) 参加一个明显低于自身水平的league并Sandbagger之
B) 参加一个略低于自己NTRP水平的league，比赛中练习自己的各方面
能力（包括短拍）。在将要输球的情况下采用防守性低UE打法。
C) 参加一个和自己NTRP水平相仿的league，每场都从第一分开始斗智
斗勇。
D) 参加一个比自己水平略高的league, 多数时间当pusher以锻炼体力
和意志力。
E) 参加一个明显高于自身水平的league并惨遭被sandbagging | Y**s

right - if you are 3.0 and you join 4.5 league and gets 6-0, 6-0 everytime -
you ain't getting "sandbagged" - you just suck and doesn't belong there.

Sandbagging is when you are 3.0, and joined a 3.0 game with another "3.0"
player, but he bagels you easily... i.e., he's sandbagging.
C or D eh. As long as you play with someone of roughly similar ability, you
can always find ways to improve. | K****D

发帖数: 1632 | 5 There's no difference between B, C, D imo. It's all about playing someone
who CAN beat you - if you play someone who you can beat 100% of the time -
you already know how that person works - you can work on techniques but how
do you gauge on their effectiveness? You can't, because you can already
beat them all the time...
B, C, D - more or less the same. basically someone around your level,
sometimes you win, sometimes you lose. B) - you win slightly more, C -
about even, D - slightly less.

发帖数: 3016 | 7 You probably only play 4-8 matches in regular season. So you can improve
even if you took option#A because you can learn a lot in practice games with
good coaching. Also you can apply your new weapons to those easy games.
You may be surprised when you sandbag in the league because you may
encounter couple of other better sandbaggers. I knew couple of sandbaggers
who are 3.5 and played 2.5 league. But they didn't get National Championship
because they met couple of 4.0 players in the players.
