lost, before she hurts herself even more.
i read it somewhere last week that all the soft tissues in her knee joints
are gone and she has to have something injected into the joints to act as
lubricant every 2-3 weeks. she also went heart surgery at the age of 13 so
she could continue playing tennis.
she is very determined and she has the never-say-die spirit. for that, i
feel high respect and admiration. if you've never suffered from injury, it
is hard to understand the hardship. i had a 10-1 record during the regular
season last year but i injured myself during the playoff. although i felt
disappointed for not making to the district, in retrospect, that was
probably a good thing, coz i could have ended up injuring myself more. |
