4000 sq ft, $400k house, premium is more than $2000 for 1% ($4k) deductible.
for 5% deductible, premium is only $1000.

I'd go with the 1% just looking at the numbers, as you could easily go over
4k expense on a house
but the experienced may have other thoughts
