我们买房子的时候先后找过三个华人loan officer，都拿假话吓唬我们呢。说我家领导
刚回美国工作，没有近两年的W2表，贷款条件不够，因此要多收费外加高利率（高得离
谱）。某一位居然还暗示我们找个中餐馆做假工作证明。
对于这种不守规矩的人，我们一向是敬而远之的。
后来我们直接找了Amergy bank和Metlife，他们的loan officer和underwriter说压根
就没这样的要求。只要有签证类型符合规定、有良好的信用记录和工作单位的pay
check，就肯定给办。双方给的条件都不错，我们选了前者，两个星期就顺利办好了一
切手续，利率低，收费也很正常。
我觉得LZ不妨shop around，仔细比较一下，谁给的条件好就跟谁做。 |

我是2009年买房，先是Comerica给我5%我觉得还可以，不过又问了一下我的real
estate agent - 这是个巨大错误，我以后再也不会用任何中国人做agent，给我推荐了
一个女老墨，居然问了工资还要问绿卡我Cao，被我直接pass掉 - 最后我自己跑到网上
去搜索资料，用的是网上银行中信誉比较好的ING Direct，他们查了我的信用记录之后
，就直接给我4.25% fixed rate. 还省去了一笔忘了名字的固定费用。
到现在想来，买房和自己找mortgage是我在美国做出的比较明智的决定之一。找Agent
我亏死了，吸取了很多教训。
