Researchers based their methodology on 16 measures of performance to
evaluate how well North Texas public schools are preparing students for post
-secondary success. Key measures included the graduation rate, participation
in advanced coursework, performance on college entrance exams, and gains on
math and reading/ELA TAKS exams.
Middle/Elementary School:
each campus’ reading and math TAKS gains to create a total gains score.
