I do regret not raising larger on the flop but it probably would not make a
difference for this hand. It did cross my mind on the turn that he could
have pocket As.. but I just can't fold this so i shove~~~~ | f*****g 发帖数: 15860 | 2 no, he could 33, 66, AdKd, AdQd, a lot of other hands too, move on.

| W********m 发帖数: 7793 | 3 33 66.. really? flat flop mini raise on a drawy board out of position with a small set? I would
take those out right away. all over pair are impossible too to check raise
with an A on the board except AA. the only thing possible is that he
floated me out of position with AK, but to check raise here is still too
strong for AK. AK may be but unlikely.
I know we always say we can't fold set over set. but my money was on AA
when I shoved. it is really AA, AdKd or donk spaz. If he is check ra | f*****g 发帖数: 15860 | 4 well, i would not, after all, you only flop a flush draw 1/8 of time. with
trash piar hitting a good flop like this, at least x% of time he'll slow
play too.
as for putting him on AA, well, unless in some extreme situations, we can't
fold here, i.e., we might be 100% right this time, yet totally wrong in
other 10 times.

in just to prove that I don't fold sets (which is silly). If i folded turn
and post this hand here, 我肯定会被砸死的。
I will try to post this hand on 2+2 small stake forum later if i can get
the hand converter to work and see what type of reaction i will get. | f*****g 发帖数: 15860 | 6 well, you have to define "most of the time as it played" based on stats or
specific read, or what % are we talking about here.
poker is all about incomplete information, we could rarely put somebody on a
specific hand.
david chiu folded KK preflop once in WPT to SB's re-raise, because he
noticed SB was double checking his hole cards (rubbing his fingers to see
them clearly) before he made the move. this kind of read is very uncommon (
david was a dealer for a long time before) and still, he coul

| W********m 发帖数: 7793 | 7 I understand and agree with everything you said. It is about hand range and
long term ev. No question about it. But sometimes, your opponents are
playing his hand face up, but we still can't fold our hand when beat simply
because we have a set? I just don't think it is good enough.
I also explained my thought process on his hand range. Do you think it makes
sense? Discounting the lower set and flush draw in the range, we really
only face AA or AdKd. Even AdKd tend to reraise on the flop then c | f*****g 发帖数: 15860 | 8 sure, follow your own instinct, laying down such a hand is not really bad at
