p****r 发帖数: 9164 | 1 1. First allin pot lost.
Came there early, a few old guys. Very tight and passive table. A lot
of time a few limpers and one guy raised to 25$ everybody fold. The table is
very short as well, lot of ppl sit with 200-300$ stack on a 2-5 table.
I did not sit the table very long and picked up AdAh in MP. Decided to
raise to 20 to get some action. A 60+ old Korean guy(about 270$ stack)
called me and BB called as well (less than 200$ stack). That Korean guy had been playing
pretty tight and passive.
Flop came 998, two diamond. BB checked, I checked. Korean guy bet 45,
BB folded. do not put him on a 9 ,or 88 with the bet size and his image.
could well be hand like TT-QQ. So decided to call there. Turn was 5 of
diamond. I do have Ace of diamond. I checked again, he bet 100$, with 100$
left, I put him all in and he snap called. Showing JdTd, with a combo draw on
the flop. River a blank, I lost a 500+ pot.
Really do not know if I can do anything different with such a shallow
stack.
2. Two hands that I may miss value.
a. Raised to 25 with JJ MP, called by BB, a reg. Flop came 945,rainbow.
He checked, I bet 35, he called. Turn is a 3, he checked, I checked too.
River is a 9, he checked, I was sure my JJ is good. So bet 80$, he snap
called, showing TT.
b. Short handed table. Raised to 35$ with AK when there were straddle. 2
callers, including SB and straddlers. Sb was sitting with about 400$, I got him
covered. Flop came A82, rainbow. SB checked, I bet 80$, straddler folded. SB
quickly called. SB is a tag and ABC type player. Turn is a 8, he checked, I
checked. River was an off suit 6, he bet 120$, I called. He showed AQ, I
took down the pot.

There is a white woman about 50 years old on the table, who has been
playing really really loose. She called about 80% preflop and plays ABC
poker postflop. She said she owns a lot of business in Vegas and has been
playing a lot of 10k buyin tourney. Some ppl on the table said they see her on Tv poker show before. She said she is good friend of linda Johnson. lol. She seems a
total cash game fish for me.
Anyway, she won quite a few big pots and had over 1k on the table. She
limped UTG as usual, I limped with 33 with about 450$ stack. Another limper
in and both BB and SB checked.
Flop came 983, two diamond. Everybody check to me, I bet 20$, the other
limper called, both SB and BB folded. loose white woman called. Turn was an
off suit T. Checked to me, I bet 60$, the other limper folded, white woman
said" what the hell is going on here" and shoved.
What to do? Can we really give her credit for 67 and fold there?

hoho, found that white woman's profile online. I really do not think she
is a long term winner in poker.

| t****t 发帖数: 95 | 8 Yes, I think it could be a fold given her loose image and the board
texture.
I had exactly similar hand a couple days ago. That hand went like this:
1/2 game 4 to open, I was BB with $100, had 55
MP limped, button raised to 15, I called, MP called
Flop: AT5 rainbow
I checked, MP checked, button bet 30, I flat call, MP called with a
speech "
I'd just call".
Turn: 4, two hearts on the board now
I thought immediately, I could be against str8 already, especially with
the speech MP made. However, it doesn't really make sense for him to
hold 23 here with the action, but it's not impossible either. I have
only $55 left,
so I pushed allin. MP allin with 200+, Btn folded. Without seeing his
cards, I knew he had a str8 for sure.
Rive: J, no flush
He asked me, you got a set? I said yes. He showed 23 of hearts with a
str8
on the turn just like my instinct said.
Later, I figured, the best play would be min raise 30 on the flop and
not to
get greedy even with the set.
So, fold if you feel like she got there on the turn. Or, you believe
you
can still hit your 10 outs for full house or quad

| c******q 发帖数: 456 | 9 This is sort of result oriented thinking.
(1) I'd fold 55 on BB with $100 stack. 3-bet is another option if u know the
villain btn-raise light. Don't like the set mining here since (a) the price
is not good. (2) we have no position either absolutely or relatively.
(2) I don't mind the call on the flop even though the stack size is a little
bit awkward since we are in way ahead or way behind situation. Of course
the best play to me here is to shove $85 to a ~$80 pot.
(3) as played, I'd rather to check/call on the turn. Allin yourself is
turning your hand to bluff with almost no folding equity.

connector.
Fold pre-flop for sure.

She was calling with two over cards and backdoor flush draw on the flop.

| n*****t 发帖数: 190 | 13 I like your play in hand 1. Check/call on 998 flop is good to control the
pot and maximize the value.
For Hand 2a, I suggest that you should continue bet on turn as well. Since
villain may call your C-bet with any face cards on the flop, you do not want
to give any free card to him on the river. Plus JJ is not that powerful to
slow play here. Any face card on river could shutdown the action and there's
also some possibility to hit villain's range. Then you lose pot.
Hand 2b: I like your play here. Don't blame yourself. You were sad because
you saw the AQ. Your bet on turn may push out a lot of weak Ax(A10, A9 and
etc). Most times this play may maximize your value. Since you check behind
on turn, most villains would call your river bet with any Ax.
