to ask you guys how I can play better with these hands. thank you.
Background: My image at the table: mainly TAG and sometimes LAG.
1. I'm at MP with KJs, raised to $8. SB reraised to $18. All fold. I decide
to call. SB is a TAG, a normal player. I didn't have much info about him
before. Both of us had about $200ish before this hand. Flop is Q45r. He bet
$20, I decide to float so I called. Turn is Q, he bet another $20, I felt
his turn bet is weak because of the size, so I decide to represent I have a
Q, so I called again. River is another 5. He checked, I bet $50 and took
down the pot. He showed the table AA. I was so relieved when he fold.
When I think back this hand, I felt I didn't play it right. It didn't make
sense that I had a Q. If so, a normal player would probably reraise on the
turn or bet less on river to get paid. And I won't have 55, 44 or A5 either
from the way I played. I felt the logic is wrong. And the river bet size
might be a little small, $60 is probably better in this case. But too big
might make it look suspicious. What do you think?
2. I'm at BB with AA. a very TAG at MP raised to $6, couple of callers, I
reraised to $20. He was a little disgusted, showed his cards to the guy on
his right and called. All folds. Obviously, he didn't like his hand that
much.
Flop Q 3 5r. I bet $16 trying to be weak because I thought he has Ace
something or a mid pair, so he can call and I can get more money from him
later. Surprisely, he instantly reraised ALL IN with about $120. I was like
wow, i didn't expect that at all. I tanked for a few mins and had no clue at
all. I asked him: Why so much? do you have a set? If you have a set, you
can't bet this big. He didn't answer. Then, I ask him, "do you want me to
call?". He said "either way, it's up to you." I ask him again "Will you show
if i fold?" He said "yes, I'll show."
Well, I called with my AA and he flipped over his QQ.
Two things made me call his all in. One, his re-shove is too much which is
weird to me because he didn't seem to like his hand preflop when i reraise.
If he had a set and he knows I have an over pair, most of the players would
just call on the flop to trap since there was no draw on board. Two, he said
he will show his cards. I felt a player says that is >50% bluffing from my
previous experience. Obviously, my thoughts were wrong... | h******n

2. I would fold to villain's all in raise. You only invested $36, it doesn't
worth the risk. I believe villain mostly has two pairs or better to put you

If a player answers "yes" to question "will you show if I fold?", what does
it normally mean?

发帖数: 327 | 5 2. He was not acting preflop. I just never put him on QQ. I thought the best
hand he would have is a mid set. But I put him on AQ. That all in to my $16
weak bet was way too much. I didn't read him correctly from his bet size.

flop 遇到all-in 或者big raise 时大都别人有大牌， 特别是board 没有flush draw
的情况下， 一般没有set是call 不动的。我吃过太多的亏了，

发帖数: 1500 | 7 hand 1, on turn, to villain, it is way ahead or way behind situation, as
long as u called, he wont give out any penny on non-ace river, if he has
brain. except ur river bet is too small lol
hand 2, we need live tell, but we cant rely on live tell. Plus, i would
raise more on flop (maybe your $20 raise was because of the table dynamic),
anyways like some buddy said, on a dry board, i would fold my overpair against villain's all-of-a-sudden shove if there is no history. | p******e
