PhD programs if no job offered at the end of this year， still in Civil
Engineering. But I will prefer to the structural static/dynamics, numerical
model... ... anything BUT structural reliability.
Do you guys have some good suggestion? I mean applying to a better Univ. with
major than the one in Univ. of Delaware.
Priority:
Prefering senior level position school. Willing to relocation national wide. |

自己弄得身败名裂...
你把整个性格调整好了，让偶们TJ人也放心了，就好办了；你现在是不让偶们放心，而且
如果侬找8到工作，是不是侬就活不了了? 就已经是TMD身败名裂了，有这么对自己狠嘛？
现在敢随便不读PhD而去找工作吗? 你讲话，不是都得有绿卡了吗? 否则那不是找死吗?

用MS找工作还是比较有优势的。好多公司最多只要MS。PHD根本不考虑。
如果要去读PHD，真的要把整个性格调整好了，否则将来找工作很可能还不如MS呢。那不
是找死吗？有这么对自己狠吗？
建议把找工作的重点放在LOCAL上。可以考虑搬去大城市找(当然可以找个朋友的地址作为
联系地址来骗骗人)。

没什么，说起UD的PhD之旅就是我运气不济的一件事。阿三的脾气比较怪，以后看到阿三
见一避之，没意思，浪费时间。
PHD根本不考虑－－－其实并不全是这样。PhD找工作主要还是自己的能力，但是如果是UI
UC PhD－－－》Boulder PostDoc就没有必要到工业界中混了，有点浪费。PhD靠关系和运
气找到工作的例子还是很多的

关键是CIVIL的industry几乎根本不需要PHD的nengli

you are on the right reack on research, which means that your research is
supported by the industry or have a good relationship with industry.
Otherwise, as a fresh PhD, we still need a lot of luck and relationship.
For the relationship, I think we could rely on the reach of the Prof's around
our lives, especially those with PE titles. The most importment man should be
the vice-chair in the dept who is also in charge |
