我觉得你的行程在1号公路上时间有点紧。1号公路的北段相对来说漂亮一些，南段接近

第一天要停了half moon bay, santa cruz, monterey bay，重点玩了Monterey水族馆
，之后进入17 miles，穿过carmel小镇，这个时候就已经下午三四点了。之后又停了
big sur一两个沙滩，等到Hearst Castle都已经八点了，很遗憾不能参观。而且天已经
完全黑了
，偏偏这段路是最难开的山路，限速不时降到25、30，我们的终点是san luis obispo
，开到的时候已经9点了。
第二天继续往南，下面的路就很好开了，有些和101重叠，也不靠海，开起来会快一点
。先路过了一个叫Solvang的小镇，又叫丹麦村，建筑很有特色。重点玩了santa
barbara，午饭后回到1号公路，在malibu的一个沙滩Point Dune State Beach体验了一
下270度环海，之后直接开到LA中国城吃饭，大概是6点到的。其它沙滩一概没有停。
我建议如果有时间的话，给1号公路安排3天或者2天半，这样会比较轻松一点。

油。
有一个天主教堂，是第一批传教士来加州开荒时修的，和santa barbara的Mission是同
一年代，但后者更有名。
有一个BBQ餐馆，叫Firestone Grill，yelp上1000多个review，是当地特色的BBQ。
附近半小时车程有morro bay和pismo beach。

发帖数: 116 | 32 d5 is a tight schedule. The Red and White Fleet cruise to go below Golden
Gate is highly recommended. After drive across Golden Gate remember to
drive up the hill and see the gate from above the hill. It is so beautiful
there. If you get time I'd recommend the small town Sausalito right below
Golden Gate bridge, on the north end of the bridge. It is a nice and decent
town, good for a lunch (no chinese food though).
You might want to drive down the meandering part of Lombard street, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lombard_Street_(San_Francisco), on your way to Fisherman's Wharf. It is fun and cost no extra time.
Personally I don't think Chinatown is of that much interest, but it's just
my personal preference. I do not like any chinatown, anyway. Nor do I
think Financial District is interesting. You can see the skyscrapers from
aboard the ship much better.
d6 is on the contrary, too leisure maybe. Stanford is beautiful but
Berkeley has nothing to see. Maybe you can drive down along HW1, and to
make a stop at Santa Cruz before you turn west to the bay area. The
coastline in SC is very beautiful.
d7 might be very tight again. The 17 miles in Monterey (right before Camel)
seems something you missed. Even before the 17 miles, the coastline in
Monterey is so beautiful. Also there is a very nice aquarium, best for kids
, but it can easily cost you a whole day. For HW1 I recommend a very
leisure schedule, you would like to stop here and there. Hearst Castle is
famous but in my opinion disappointing. Imagine a Donald Trump in early
20th century and that would be the guy who built this "castle". Right
before Hearst Castle there is a beach full of elephant seals (google piedras
blancas elephant seal rookery). Another interesting place to stop by for
animal lovers.
I am sure you can find fireworks in Santa Barbara. The issue is if you can
make it there before the firework time.
d8 and d9 are again very leisure. Maybe consider spend sometime of d8 and
d9 for schedules listed under d7.
Nothing compare to California. Enjoy!

d5: SF chinatown肯定要去了，我和ld都是中国胃，即使小孩不太喜欢。不过我们会省
掉financial district，然后去你推荐的地方
d6： LD对sf的这两个大学有很奇怪的fantasy，一定要去。。。希望2个小孩多在那里
看看，这2个学校我倒是去过很多次，想逛还是很花时间的，而且那天还要和朋友见面。
1号公路分开走2段，从LA北上SF准备在santa babara之前都走1号，玩malibu, solvang
，然后转101到SF。从SF南下LA的过程就重点停1号公路的北段：17 miles, big sur &
carmel exc，过santa babara以后转101直接到la，那天晚上就住la了。南下的这一段
还没有定，时间可能不够。
