神圣的敬畏
经文: 「藐视训言的，自取灭亡；敬畏诫命的，必得善报。」（箴言十三︰13）
对上帝话语的敬畏，常被稀释或打折扣。世人以为他们比上帝的话更有智慧，
所以就随意批判圣经。而我们不敢这么做，因为我们敬畏上帝。我们相信这本圣经所记
载绝对无误，我们也借着遵行祂的话，证明我们的估算是对的。我们倒不是害怕上帝，
而是敬畏上帝。我们不是因为害怕刑罚而勉强遵行律法，乃是因为敬畏上帝诫命，而乐
意遵行祂的旨意。
这种对诫命的神圣敬畏，带来谦卑的安息，要比自我心中的随心所欲，来得心
安快乐得多！因着心中有主，使我们行事有定见、有原则，不致莽撞急躁，像是煞车失
灵的车子。因着心中有主，吸引我们愿意圣洁像祂，定意脱离罪恶，追求公义，求得良
心的平安，那是一种喜乐的泉源，是一种无比释放的自由，是一种被上帝悦纳的自信，
有如在天堂一般。世人或许会笑我们傻，但那又怎样﹖上帝呼召的奖赏，是我们最大的
安慰。因着顺服上帝而得的报偿，使我们可以将嘲笑者的讥讽不屑，还诸他们。
Holy Fear
Scripture: "He that feareth the Commandment shall be rewarded" (Proverbs 13:
13).
Holy awe of God's Word is at a great discount. Men think themselves
wiser than the Word of the LORD and sit in judgment upon it. "So did not I,
because of the fear of God." We accept the inspired Book as infallible and
prove our esteem by our obedience. We have no terror of the Word, but we
have a filial awe of it. We are not in fear of its penalties because we have
a fear of its commands.
This holy fear of the commandment produces the restfulness of
humility, which is far sweeter than the recklessness of pride. It becomes a
guide to us in our movements: a drag when we are going downhill and a
stimulus when we are climbing it. Preserved from evil and led into
righteousness by our reverence of the command, we gain a quiet conscience,
which is a well of wine; a sense of freedom from responsibility, which is as
life from the dead; and a confidence of pleasing God, which is heaven below
. The ungodly may ridicule our deep reverence for the Word of the LORD; but
what of that? The prize of our high calling is a sufficient consolation for
us. The rewards of obedience make us scorn the scorning of the scorner. | D*****r

申命记 13章，3段，说的是，宣传信别的教的必须被打死；父母子女配偶朋友如果劝信
别教的必须被打死，整个城市逐渐转信别教的，必须整城摧毁。

你们中间若有先知或是作梦的起来，向你显个神迹奇事，
对你说，我们去随从你素来所不认识的别神，事奉它吧。他所显的神迹奇事虽有应验，
你也不可听那先知或是那作梦之人的话。因为这是耶和华你们的神试验你们，要知道你
们是尽心尽性爱耶和华你们的神不是。
你们要顺从耶和华你们的神，敬畏他，谨守他的诫命，听从他的话，事奉他，专靠他。
那先知或是那作梦的既用言语叛逆那领你们出埃及地，救赎你脱离为奴之家的耶和华你
们的神，要勾引你离开耶和华你神所吩咐你行的道，你便要将他治死。这样，就把那恶
从你们中间除掉。
你的同胞弟兄，或是你的儿女，或是你怀中的妻，或是如同你性命的朋友，若暗中引诱
你，说，我们不如去事奉你和你列祖素来所不认识的别神
是你四围列国的神。无论是离你近，离你远，从地这边到地那边的神，
你不可依从他，也不可听从他，眼不可顾惜他。你不可怜恤他，也不可遮庇他，
总要杀他。你先下手，然后众民也下手，将他治死。
要用石头打死他，因为他想要勾引你离开那领你出埃及地为奴之家的耶和华你的神。
以色列众人都要听见害怕，就不敢在你们中间再行这样的恶了。
在耶和华你神所赐你居住的各城中，你若听人说，有些匪类从你们中间的一座城出来勾
引本城的居民，说，我们不如去事奉你们素来所不认识的别神。
你就要探听，查究，细细地访问，果然是真，准有这可憎恶的事行在你们中间，
你必要用刀杀那城里的居民，把城里所有的，连牲畜，都用刀杀尽。
你从那城里所夺的财物都要堆积在街市上，用火将城和其内所夺的财物都在耶和华你神
面前烧尽。那城就永为荒堆，不可再建造。
那当毁灭的物连一点都不可粘你的手。你要听从耶和华你神的话，遵守我今日所吩咐你
的一切诫命，行耶和华你神眼中看为正的事，耶和华就必转意，不发烈怒，恩待你，怜
恤你，照他向你列祖所起的誓使你人数增多。
Deuteronomy 13
1 If a prophet, or one who foretells by dreams, appears among you and
announces to you a miraculous sign or wonder, 2 and if the sign or wonder of
which he has spoken takes place, and he says, "Let us follow other gods" (
gods you have not known) "and let us worship them," 3 you must not listen to
the words of that prophet or dreamer. The LORD your God is testing you to
find out whether you love him with all your heart and with all your soul. 4
It is the LORD your God you must follow, and him you must revere. Keep his
commands and obey him; serve him and hold fast to him. 5 That prophet or
dreamer must be put to death, because he preached rebellion against the LORD
your God, who brought you out of Egypt and redeemed you from the land of
slavery; he has tried to turn you from the way the LORD your God commanded
you to follow. You must purge the evil from among you.
6 If your very own brother, or your son or daughter, or the wife you love,
or your closest friend secretly entices you, saying, "Let us go and worship
other gods" (gods that neither you nor your fathers have known, 7 gods of
the peoples around you, whether near or far, from one end of the land to the
other), 8 do not yield to him or listen to him. Show him no pity. Do not
spare him or shield him. 9 You must certainly put him to death. Your hand
must be the first in putting him to death, and then the hands of all the
people. 10 Stone him to death, because he tried to turn you away from the
LORD your God, who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery. 11
Then all Israel will hear and be afraid, and no one among you will do such
an evil thing again.
12 If you hear it said about one of the towns the LORD your God is giving
you to live in 13 that wicked men have arisen among you and have led the
people of their town astray, saying, "Let us go and worship other gods" (
gods you have not known), 14 then you must inquire, probe and investigate it
thoroughly. And if it is true and it has been proved that this detestable
thing has been done among you, 15 you must certainly put to the sword all
who live in that town. Destroy it completely, [a] both its people and its
livestock. 16 Gather all the plunder of the town into the middle of the
public square and completely burn the town and all its plunder as a whole
burnt offering to the LORD your God. It is to remain a ruin forever, never
to be rebuilt. 17 None of those condemned things [b] shall be found in your
hands, so that the LORD will turn from his fierce anger; he will show you
mercy, have compassion on you, and increase your numbers, as he promised on
oath to your forefathers, 18 because you obey the LORD your God, keeping all
his commands that I am giving you today and doing what is right in his eyes.
