on a charge of battery after a woman said she was hit because of the way she
drove a tractor at the church at 541798 S. U.S. 1, according to the Nassau
County Sheriff’s Office.
Elmer Allen Holbrooks, who lives on Lem Turner Road in Jacksonville, has
since been released on bail. Reached at his church, the pastor had no
comment.
The unidentified victim told deputies she was driving the tractor at the
church when Holbrooks climbed on it and slapped her in the head and an arm,
according to the arrest report. Holbrooks also tried to fight the woman’s
husband, according to the report.
The pastor told deputies the woman was “popped” two times because of her
driving and the way she looked at him after commenting about her driving,
the report said.

看到基督徒犯错也没必要大惊小怪。圣经曾反复强调信徒要避免继续作恶，不要把耶稣给
