人家能力和效率高啊，跟国人对洋人挥金如土的阔绰，差远了。
要是让华人来办，花了十倍百倍，收效十分之一，就很不错了。
更可能的是被媒体主子抓了把柄拿来炒作，结果赔了钱还吃官司。
最后名利双损，弄巧成拙，成事不足，败事有余。前例多去了。
这是一个用人看关系，不看能力的文化和社会，必然的结果。
马屁精和奴才在国内吃香，但在国外基本没有应对外人的能力。
当然在外丧权辱国，回国却吹嘘粉饰为大捷的能力还是超强的。

其实这个官司纯粹是为了保护被告，和必要疏导全国民愤，
不得不敷衍一下的折中做法。基本完全是演戏和作假。
只是大家和一般米国民众一样，看不到，看不明白而已。
如何选替罪羊，如何在官司告文里设伏笔，保证难产或难胜，
并且即使胜，也罚款不多，都是经过几个月的磋商和安排的。
上次告 Martha Stewart 然后媒体主子们联合起来大肆炒作，
也纯粹是为了转移米国民众的注意力，实际效果非常的好。
Martha 只是替罪的一支苍蝇而已。告她是典型的障眼法。
民众被媒体误导去注意苍蝇，就是为了方便老虎被护送逃遁。
金融黄鼠狼的阴险狡诈和阴谋，岂是母鸡们能想象到或洞悉的？

made a good bet through some legitimate trades (and should not be
discouraged unless we ban short sales altogether). Don't see the conflict
of interest. At least very hard to prove especially when Paulson was betting
on the entire sector and GS didn't make money on the trades.

murky at best.
No sympathy for GS here, they deserve every bit of bad publicity this
lawsuit generates. Having said that, I do think this is all for show.
Goldman will hire the best lawyers - the government lawyers are no match.
And they will settle the lawsuits without admitting any guilt.

nothing illegal about shorting something on the financial market. The
evidence however points to the fact that GS intentionally injected toxic
asset into their CDO products and marketed it to its own customers. It is
definitely a fraud. I seriously doubt that this is an isolated incidence. It
must be GS's culture.
BTW, It is ok you are against Democrates. It is just purely studip if you
don't use your brain.

我们不知道真相是什么，但如果和下述情况差的不太远，那么paulson应该没什么问题
，问题在gs。
CDO就是一个产品，只不过因为比较复杂，涉及到将来的现金流等一系列问题，大家认
为paulson short CDO，通过gs 对赌。
不过也许可以这么看待问题（限于水平，可能理解有误）。
2008年的香港房市，你（paulson）有一间房，你觉的香港房价要跌，所以准备卖掉。
你找了一个遍布香港大街的房产中介（如goldman，在香港基本上只有可能通过房产中
介卖房），listing，卖房。当然，你要付中介费，例如房价的1%。
剩下的问题是房地产中介如何卖的问题了。我去中介买房，地产推荐了这个房子，我想
，一般而言，我会问，买主为什么卖啊，这个房里没死过人吧，等等。参见在美国
dealer处买二手车。我记得当年dealer给我的解释是，那是我一个朋友的车，他主要开
高速，5年了，在我这里换了一辆新车，这辆就trade in了。
所以自从你在中介list了这个房子，剩下的事与你就无关。
