Here is an excerpt from the FOX News story about the House passage of the
Debt Ceiling deal:
Liberal Democrats are unhappy in part because the first phase of the plan
relies solely on spending cuts — $900 billion worth of them.
Of course they are unhappy. Spending cuts can result in the shrinkage of
the federal government. Such shrinkage can result in people discovering that
they can survive with a smaller federal government. Such a discovery can
result in people not supporting politicians who want to make the federal
government bigger.
Is there a downside to all of this? | l******a 发帖数: 3803 | 2 Quote a report on Odumba's speech after the deal passes Senate:
He only briefly referred to “a long and contentious debate,” recognizing
it as an “important first step to ensuring we live within our means.”
I only wish HE live within his wit:) | l****z 发帖数: 29846 | 3 that's not possible. bama is totally nuts. We need to bring him down.
