He resigned for being honest. The whole (supposed) point of the right wing
small government low tax low regulation idea is exactly this. It is highly
amusing when people who vote for this, then decide then really do want
government help when the shit hits the fan. And of course a tragedy for
everyone else stuck with the ramifications of this 'American Dream'.
But for the poor/working class Trumpists and Republican voters who vote for
this, tough shit. Enjoy freezing with no power and water, this is what you
vote for. Use all the money you save from low taxes (that's a joke) to look
after yourself, that's what you say you want, government out of your life.
Of course yes, they'll somehow blame this on radical lefty socialists, if it

Yet, Cruz like a dog kicked by his master crawls back to his abuser and
defends him to the hilt. He also becomes a Trump attack dog. Here in
Australia we have mugs who buy the lies and vote against their own interests
but when the party of Abe Lincoln has become a stupid and mean-spirited mob
blindly prepared to be a weaponised instrument of Donald Trump that is
something else altogether.
At least in Nazi Germany and Stalinist Russia the excuse was prolonged
brainwashing with no diversified media to contradict the lies. But, what are
future historians to make of the millions of Trump followers blindly
prepared to attack sacred American institutions when most of the media have
exposed him for the lying and self-servicing narcissist that he is? I would
not even know how to start to answer that question. |
