very close to North Carolina). It was at 4am and I was trying to find a
restroom. I already explained this to the officer and he still gave me the
ticket. Is there any one who can give me some
suggestions? The speed limit is 70 but I got 80. The cop charged me speeding.
They asked me to go to court on Oct 27. Also, I can pay the fine without
attending the court ($111)? Which one I should choose then. Also, will it

Embarrassing, I was trying to find the rest area (some emergency) but very
strange that there was none on I-85 within VA. Today I eventually found out,
that VA closed all rest areas on I-85. | t********o

but if you want a try, you should go to the court.
Rest areas closed should be a good point to argue.
My guess is your chance to dismiss the ticket is around 50% since
you were sure over speeding. It definitely broke the law,no excuse.

发帖数: 2041 | 8 根据VA的交通法, 每五年你有一次机会通过上traffic school来清掉点数.
你需要去court, 然后选择这个program, 上一天驾校, 这样你的speeding案根本
就不被审理, 也没有点. 条件是6个月内你不能被抓第二次, 否则两个案
一起审... 6个月后你的案件就撤销了.
钱上面要交法庭的手续费和驾校的费用.
