I am not sure what cargo forwarder you are using, all big one have their own
custom broker.
You will be better off using UPS or Fedex to ship your stuff (I am guessing
LTL or a pallet at a time). You don't need to pay extra to clear the custom
(it is included their fees)
If you use a custom broker on your own you will also need to post a one time
bond (I don't think you have annual bond). The total cost might be higher.
