It's apple harvest time and Meadowside's annual Apple Festival and Campfire
is just around the corner! Visit our pioneer farm and orchard for apple
cider pressing, apple lore, and hand-on activities. We'll end the evening at
our campfire ring for s'mores and more.
Where: Meadowside Nature Center, Rockville
When: 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM
Who: Ages 3+
How: Registration is required at www.ParkPASS.org.
Cost: $12 per child. Adults are free!
Saturday, September 29 - EVANfest 2012
There will be carnival games, races, food, moon bounces, music and more!
Proceeds benefit The EVAN Foundation to fight a form of pediatric cancer
called neuroblastoma.

How: Just show up!
Cost:
Admission to the event is free! Tickets will be sold for moon bounces, games
, races, face painting, food and more. Money raised via ticket sales will go
to The EVAN Foundation which raises money to help fund research for
neuroblastoma, a rare, deadly form of pediatric cancer.
