c***3 发帖数: 20 | 1 This position is for a full-time SQL Database Developer for a project at a
major Federal agency.
The project is a SCRUM-based development and maintenance effort of a case
management system running in a production environment. Your role would be
to analyze, identify, audit, and correct any data related issues with the
development and production databases currently running in DB2, but being
migrated eventually to SQLServer. The position requires you to learn the
database architecture in depth, as well as nuances with the data itself.
Duties also include working with the development team to address fixing data
issues that were caused by bugs in the application.
The location of the job is in Washington DC by the US Capitol and is within
half a block from the Judiciary Square Metro stop on the Red Line. The work
is onsite at the agency (in DC) 3 days per week, and you can work remotely
(home or wherever) the other 2 days of the week once you get up to speed
with the project. The position requires the ability to be cleared at the
National Trust Level. US Citizenship or Green card is preferred, but H1
visa holders are also welcome. The work environment and customer are great,
and the team is great as well.

Here are things we’re looking for:
-Responsible for the analysis of data and developing reports and solutions
to repair data issues using multiple production SQL databases.
-Routinely writes updates, queries, and stored procedures in SQL
-Automates data audit and update routines using Unix shell scripts and SQL
tools.
-Performs data audits
-Work in a mixed Unix/Windows environment
-Reviews reports for quality and data integrity, and performs Quality
Assurance checks, both manual and automated.
-Thorough knowledge of database design and databases architecture.
-Must possess a well-developed ability to communicate verbally and in
written form with both technical and non-technical audiences
-Candidate is required to possess or successfully complete a National Agency
Check with Inquiries (NACI) and FBI Criminal History Check
-Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or
equivalent experience.
Qualifications:
-Candidates must be detail oriented and have the ability to perform under
deadlines
-2 years or more database experience required
-2 years or more SQL and Stored Procedure development experience required
-Must be a Team Player and Quick Learner
$58 -70K, Salary based directly upon your experience
