Today I met a trainer for body composition assessment, I may have found out
why I was not able to put on more weight, even though I don't worry about
how many caleries I take in everyday.
Measurements (using 7-point-pinch method):
Waist: 36
Hips: 44.5
Waist-Hips ratio: 0.81 (0.9 is dangerous)
Weight: 230 lbs
Height: 6"1.5
Body density: 1.13
Body fat percentage: 11.95%
Weight resistent Calery burning rate: 2037-10912.5 cal/hr
Now I know why I was not able to add weight(only added 5 lbs in more th

没看懂。你到底消耗多少?
还有,你的bodyfat %准吗?印象中好像比12%高些?
昨天有个同事说他太太测了下BF,被告知36%。她才119lbs,据说和我差不多
高。每天锻炼很长时间的。不知道那个36%怎么测出来的。和她一比,我那个30%
完全算不得什么了。呵呵。

顶一下.
飞放姐说的我都不敢去测BODY FAT了,我感觉我看起来比你肥多了, 要是量了36%出来,

7-point pinch method is supposed to be the second most accurte method.

你年轻,可能还不会差得太离谱。我那个同事两个孩子都上大学了,年纪应该比我还大
点。她确实是大受打击。同事说她现在整天觉得胖。:(才119磅啊,怎么可能胖。
据我的经验,这种健身房的测量基本是浪费时间。同事也说那trainer可能是想推销
suppliments。关键要找客观的测量,我觉得。据说POD和浸水的测量法还准一点。

我都是BOD POD测量的, 上一次的时候是22%左右, 那个三年前了, 现在不知道多少.

这是日消耗?这个范围也太大了啊?不说明任何问题。所有男的应该都在这个范围内。

其实测体脂最简单的方法是照镜子 其他都是假的

It was a free session so I took it, the trainer was a cute little girl :).
She didn't recommend anything to me, but to discuss with me what these
measures mean. Although at the end she did leave her phone number with me in
case I want to train with her?!(well she is not even qualified as half of
my spotter...).

Can you get me the correct numbers? I believe that's why I couldn't put on
more weight.

more like 600-1500 cals. If you were lifting super heavy weight and no rest,
2000 cals in an hour is achievable, but 10000 cal per hour is impossible
unless you are superman or neo....

还是不靠谱。很难想象举重一小时能消耗2000卡,除非加上after burn。那个10
000卡就更不可能了,也许是个别的什么指标?
这里有个卡路里消耗计算网站:
http://www.healthdiscovery.net/links/calculators/calorie_calculator.htm
以LZ的体重,跑10mph一个小时可以接近2000卡。

嘻嘻,我发现大家都挺有科研精神哈,都算下吃了多少卡,消耗多少卡。我咋就那么懒
呢,从来不算,吃,消耗都不算。从今天开始决定记录日志,先把昨天,前天的锻炼接
下来,尤其是昨天的boot camp,记下来以后好给自己用。其实,如果我能早一个月做
