the department head is out today. So he sent him an email about my
resignation and the company name.
I am a little regret about telling him the company name. This company has no
overlapping business with my current company though (not a client either). Will I get any trouble?

but in case you haven't been on board for the new employer, the safest thing
to do is telling them after your first day there
Theoretically, there are chances that someone in your current company will
contact your new employer to screw things up and make them rescind the offer
But I'd say such probability is less than 0.001% |
