My wife is thinking of quiting the job and going back to school (transfer
from H1B to F1). Then she will start to look for job with targeting start-
date in June/July 2013. We have several questions:
She is already in her 7-yr H1B, with I-140 approved from previous employer.
1. She didn't use OPT before, can she use OPT status for the new job in next
year?
2. When she is applying F1 to H1B "transfer" next year, she should not be
subject to H1B quota since she had H1B approved before. Is that correct?
3. If her PD is not current next year, with previous approved I-140, when
she applies F1->H1B, can she get 3 years H1B approval?
