The Court seems to be pretty one-sided from the oral argument
transcripts (that the law is unconstitutional).
But who cares about dogs? :-) I found Scalia's comment
at one point immensely interesting. He basically said
that "commercially" was hardly limiting because
it would cover "anything sold."
Just imagine if they adopted the same attitude if there
were to be some cases challenging the federal government's
inter-state commerce regulation power (by the 14th Amendment).

昨天开车听NPR在讲斗狗，没听完整就到地方了。XD
14修正案不是主要给黑人公民权的么，怎么还跟商务有关？

Argh, I don't know why I wrote "the 14th Amendment"
when I was really thinking "the Commerce Clause" -
probably because I had in the back of my mind that
the 14th Amendment also gave Congress basically carte
blanche power upon the States.

法官们在讨论是把他们毙了/终生监禁，还是给条悔过自新的路，估计当年制定
第八修正案的人们没想到被用到了这里。
