auto. During this not so long
trip, I experienced many situations.
(1)The total distance from bay area to LA area is about less than 400 miles,
we had to clime hills, and
drive on the smooth I5 too.
(2)Speed was mostly between 85MPH to 90MPH. When cpproaching LA area during
climing, it was
mostly 70 MPH to 80 MPH.
(3)Hit big thanksgiving traffic twice, one in the middle of the trip, the
second one was 30 miles away

发帖数: 334 | 2 Now I have been back for almost a week, I am still driving with the gas I
filled before I left LA.
So roughly
20 miles local + 350 miles highway used about 5/8 of the tank
now the milage on the trip meter is 455 miles, used about 3/16 of the gas
tank,
still about 40 miles to go with about 1/16 tank of gas.
so the estimate should be like this
455/17 = 26.8 MPG,
I will assume 1MPG error on this calculation too, so the final estimate on
Gas Mileage with rough half local half highway mixture is
26
