How do you define lose? If people can always buy-in, they always have chips
and they are always in the game.

casual and relaxed manner. We play, drink, eat, chat, and joke with each
other.
One thing for sure is that the people at the game is not for $$$, granted,
this might not be exciting for some poker players.

last 3 won the pot.
We do small gambling for fun. If the rules are too loose, it loses the gaming spirit of Hold'em.

happy with the way it has been set up ( not by me), I am not sure that we
need to change anything just because of spirit and/or rules of Hold'em. The
way I look at is that these game rules are set up by people in order to have
a fun game, if we are already happy to play games with so called loose or
relaxted rules, why change?
I think people just need to find something that fits their needs and makes
them happy, would you agree?

In our $5 game, one person just wanted to pay/risk $1 so it ended up she won
only 20% when she won.
We are not really into $$$, for fun also, but just a slightly different
approach.
