Someone committed suicide in his own car at the parking lot near the
building where I work. Later the building manager sent us an email saying
that the guy killed himself after talking with people in a mortgage company
in the building. |

可以的话，我就卖房子，卖不出去，就foreclose它，然后宣布破产。总之不会寻死，
俗语说，留的青山在，不怕没柴烧。难道人的生命，就值一幢房子吗。如果自己没亲人
的话，死了就死了，但如果自己还有孩子，老婆，老公的话，自己死了后，留一大个烂
摊给家里人去面对，不大好吧。人的一生总会遇到各种各样的困难，只要想办法解决它
就好了。要相信明天会更好。

发帖数: 298 | 13 1. It is hard to negotiate with the loan officer, who has to act as an a**
hole on behalf of the mortgage company to extract the last drop of juice
from you. Therefore you can never count on the good will of the loan officer.
Having said that, the loan officer is arguably liable for contributory
negligence for having approved your loan in the first place. Thus, if you
are sued for delinquent payments, you can join the mortgage company as a co-
defendant. Because the mortgage company presumably has deeper pockets than
an individual home owner, if adjudicated unfavorably, the underwriting bank
will go after the mortgage company.
2. There might be a cause of action to sue the mortgage company for
intentional infliction of extreme emeotional distress, duress, coercion, or
even bad faith in entering an unconscionable contract, etc., depending on
the circumstances.
3. It is true that the guy is highly irresponsible in taking his life,
leaving behind a mortgage, a widow, and two kids (assuming as the truth). I
wonder if he has ever read William Shakespeare in Julius Caesar, "Cowards
die a thousand deaths. The true valient taste of death only once."

不过这样是不是会影响到孤儿寡母以后抚恤金或者保险的领取？
老婆可以再嫁，儿女可以跟妈过，可是父母老了怎么办，自杀的肯定不是独生子女。。。
自杀是不好的。。。
