1. Go to searsyardguru.com and click on Sears vs. Competitors.
2. Make sure you select "mowers" not tractors on the lest side.
3. Scroll down to select " Home Depot - Ariens"
4. Select the 1st mower on the list : Model A149K21 and click "Compare Now".
5. Shows that Home Depot Sells it for 199.00 the Craftsman model is selling
for 219.99
Per Craftsman Price Guarantee, the Craftman mower will beat the Home Depot
Mower by at least $1.00 or they will price match the Craftsman and Gift you
a $50 GC (in store) or do an immediate refund of $55 ($5 for price match + $
50 for GC) to your CC (phone). Not sure how it works through online ordering
. Would probably need to call after ordering to do an immediate adjustmnet
after they confirm the lower price for the HD mower. The mower is shown on
their selection list, so it is to be eligible despite the HD site saying its
an online order only item. My local HD (most other sotre do as well)
carries them .
So to summarize:
In store: Its 199.00 for the mower (price matched) +$50 GC for future
purchase
Phone: 204.99 for the mower (219.99 - 15 instant savings) + tax; then credit

P.S. Most Sears personnel are oblivious to this promotion or uneducated
regarding this promotion. Read up on the Craftsman Price Guarantee for the
details. It took me 3 days and 7 Sears reps before I finally clarified and
scored the deal over the phone.
