supposed to do basically what their hardware based Pogoplug does, but on
your own computer. They announce two versions - a free one which works on
your local lan, and a $29 Premium version which is needed for access on the
Internet. They've also released free apps for Android, IOS, and Blackberry
for easy access back to your home based pogoplug (music player, picture
viewer, etc.)
I was researching the new software based Pogoplug, and came across a couple
of web sites that were offering links for 200 free license to the $29
Premium version. Alas, when I tried the links the 200 copies were gone, but
they offered a $10 discount instead.
I guessed that Pogoplug's marketing folks offered a number of sites 200
licenses to give away to their readers. Looking a the links provided on the
two sites I found, I took a guess at how to modify as if it were coming from
another site that might provide product reviews. Surprise - the first one I
tried worked.

Others that seem to be working as I write this are:

As you can see, the format is pretty easy to figure out. I'm guessing these
will be good for about 200 licenses each before they expires. If none of
these work for you, try modifying the link for other sites you think that
might work.
