I had been debating picking this up as a gift for someone for whom I
purchased Pandemic (another co-op board game) last year and since I believe
the normal Amazon price is around $25 so, at $16 the debating went out the
window. It is essentially a tower defense board game where players must work
together to either win or lose as a group. It's gotten great reviews across
the board, I'm looking forward to playing a few rounds this Christmas.
Manufacturer's details :
In Castle Panic players must work together to defend their castle, in the
center of the board, from monsters that attack out of the forest, at the
edges of the board. Players trade cards, hit and slay monsters, and plan
strategies together to keep their castle towers intact. The players either
win or lose together, but only the player with the most victory points is
declared the Master Slayer.
