Unlock most likely require jail-break. Otherwise the official firmware tend
to re-lock the iphone.
You can down load free apps from itune store as well.
But I found the best entertain is provide by some
very cheap quality games, like $0.99 Angry Bird, currently
No1. in itune store. So many levels and very fun to play.
Well worthy the money.
