My cellphone battery went bad, it's getting bigger and bigger everyday.
VISA first asked me to get an estimate for the repair, then ask me to email/
fax/mail them the 1. invoice when I paid for my phone, 2. claim form filled,
3. credit card monthly stmt that shows this cellphone transaction, 4. a
copy of the warranty from cellphone mfg.
There isn't any repair shop near me, so I went to bought a new battery from
Amazon. And email VISA the invoice, I am still waiting for my check in the
mail.
This whole process is slow and really annoying. | m**********a

I first called the 1800 number in the back of my VISA credit card. They told
me that I got to call a different dept at another 1888 number. And i called
that 1888 number,
the 1888 number is the one that helps you to deal with mfg to claim the mfg
warranty. They told me that if I want a new product or replacement, then I
got to call another 1800-635-5529.
The whole VISA warranty is like shit, they do work but not in the way that I
expect them to. It is too much work and time to get it done.
They dont pay for shipping. Their IT/computer system is slow, it takes about
3-5 biz days to process the stuffs that I sent to them in email.
I'll get my $10 check for the money that I spent on Amazon for a new
cellphone battery within 7 biz days.
The only good thing about this VISA warranty is that they work 24/7 and
calls are answered in USA. There is no need to deal with ppl from India.
