标 题: 出租住房的一定要达到68度吗？

我在芝加哥南部， 临近Indiana。 今年房子租给了一个白人。 这个周末收到他的律师
写来的一封信， 说要起诉我， 因为我的房子温度， 夜间没有达到芝加哥市政府规定
的68- 70度。
原信件中有这样的文字：
Chicago's Heat Ordnance
13-196-410
Residential buildings--Heat to be furnished.
From September 15 to June 1 Building owners are required to provide the
following temperatures for their tenants:
68 degrees from 8:30 a.m.-10:30 p.m.
70 degrees from 10:30 p.m.-8:30 a.m.
If these temperatures are not being maintained, tenants should contact their
your landlord or building manager immediately. If this situation persists
they should call 311, the new non-emergency phone number, and the
Conservation Bureau will send an inspector to the premises to check
temperature levels and enforce the Heat Ordinance.
Landlords who fail to maintain proper temperatures will have their cases
sent to Administrative Hearings or a special Heat Court, where the building
owner can be fined.

2）你房子温度为什么没达到这个温度？他自己调的低？你家隔热效果差，温度上不去？
3）让当局查查，给出定论，你花钱提高保暖功能。
在3）没定论之前，给人家一个电暖气用，要么租金回扣吧，问问人家要怎样？大不了
赔几个月租金。政府罚款未必比他们要的赔偿多，关键是对待问题的态度好，合作，有
理有节。 |

上不起什么作用。律师的收费可能比损失还高，没必要。

nj原来也是这个标准，好像最近改了，把晚上改成了65.

度，白天６５还是６８度。你应该查一查。
