As kohl's charge card holder will have 30% off discount frequently, I have a
question about using it with giftcard. If I use Kohl's giftcard to pay most
(or all) of the balance, will I still be able to get 30% off discount.
For example, if I purchase an item, which is $100 before discount, and I
have $70 giftcard.
Which case is ture when I also put Kohl's charge card into the transaction:
(1) 30% off will be applied to the original price, so after discount it's $
70, and I will pay off the item with $70 giftcard.
(2) 30% only applies to non-gift card part. So discount only applies to $30(
$100-$70), so I pay $60 on gift card + $21 on Kohl's charge card.
Can anyone who has the experience confirms which one is the real scenario?

from previoue purchase?
